Data Processing Terms

Agents and agencies using Emlivo enter personal data about their own clients: client and lead records, appointments, rent and dues tracking, contract parties, owner details and messages in connected social media accounts. These terms set out the roles and duties of each party for that data and form part of the Terms of Use.
1. Roles
- •You are the data controller for your clients' data. Emlivo is the data processor and processes it only on your behalf, to provide the service and on your instructions.
2. Your obligations
- •Inform the people you enter in the panel as required by KVKK and obtain their explicit consent where needed.
- •Enter only accurate data that is relevant and limited to your business; do not enter special categories of data (health, religion, political opinion, etc.) unless necessary.
- •Use details such as the Turkish ID numbers of owners and tenants only for the related legal procedure.
- •Answer data protection requests from your clients, and act on requests we forward to you.
- •Protect your password and decide who in your team can access the panel.
3. Emlivo's obligations
- •Process the data only to provide the service; never use it for its own purposes, sell it or send marketing messages to it.
- •Limit access by permission, encrypt data in transit and store ID numbers encrypted.
- •Work only with infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality, and publish the current list in the Privacy Policy.
- •Inform you without delay if unauthorised access is detected.
- •Delete the data or hand it over to you when you close your account or ask for it, subject to legal retention obligations.
4. Acceptance
- •These terms are accepted together with the Terms of Use when an agent account is opened, and the acceptance is stored with its date and version. When the text changes, the new version is presented for your approval in the panel.
