Frequently asked questions

How is the home analysis score calculated?
The number and distance of nearby transit stops, groceries, schools, healthcare, green space and daily amenities are weighted into a single score.
How is noise assessed?
The class and distance of the nearest main road are evaluated together, so a building next to a motorway scores differently from one on a side street.
Is the facade and sunlight information reliable?
Facade direction is derived from the outward normal of the building longest edge, and sun hours from the location latitude and date. Shadows cast by surrounding buildings are not included.
Does every address return a result?
If the building footprint is not recorded in open map data the structure and facade cards are hidden, while the score, noise and neighbourhood information still appear.
