Enter the overdue building dues and the days late to calculate the late fee at five percent a month and the total owed under the Turkish Condominium Law.
Under the Turkish Condominium Law (art. 20) an owner who does not pay their share owes a late fee of five percent a month for the days of delay. Enter a different rate if your management plan sets one. The fee is calculated on the principal.
The law sets a late fee rather than interest: five percent a month on the overdue amount, by day. Dues of 2,000 TL that are 30 days late accrue 100 TL; 45 days late accrue 150 TL.
Multiply the overdue amount by the monthly rate and by the days late, then divide by 30: amount × rate × days / 30. The fee is calculated on the principal.
The management plan binds all owners and may set the rate applied on late payment. If your plan states a rate, use it here; seek legal advice in case of dispute.
The tenant is jointly liable with the owner for the dues and the late fee, but only up to the rent they are obliged to pay.
Every plan has a 7-day trial for $1. Only that fee is charged during the trial; cancel before it ends and the plan fee is never taken. The trial applies to credit cards; debit card payments are charged in full immediately.
