How many days' notice for unpaid rent in Türkiye?
Short answer
For residential and roofed workplace leases, the tenant must be given at least 30 days in writing to pay overdue rent. For other leases the period is at least 10 days.
Details
- The period runs from the date the notice is served on the tenant.
- The notice must state clearly that the lease will be terminated if the debt is not paid in time.
- Two justified notices for unpaid rent within one rental year are a separate ground for eviction.
